[Recruitment / Updated Scholarship] Graduate-level student Class TA for Prof. Jon Bailey
UIC is looking for a graduate-level Class Teaching Assistant for Prof. Jon Bailey.

1. Employment Period
• Start Date: To be determined upon agreement after an interview
• End Date: January 4th, 2027 (the end of the grade correction period)
2. General Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled as graduate students at Yonsei University. TA tasks include writing solutions to assigned problems and scoring student work. Proficiency in English communication is required.
3. Position Details (Class TA)
• Scholarship: Up to KRW 2,700,000
(※ The final scholarship amount will be calculated and paid on a pro-rata basis, starting from the actual work start date through the end date.)
• Course: MAT1002 [Calculus and Vector Analysis 2]
• Mandatory Schedule: Must be able to travel to the Songdo campus for face-to-face recitation on Mondays from 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM.
• Ideal Candidates: Graduate students majoring in mathematics, physics, or engineering. Engineering Ph.D. students with solid English communication skills from the following subfields are excellent candidates:
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
- Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Materials Science/Engineering
• Preferred Background: Students involved in applications of classical field theory, including electromagnetic theory, fluid mechanics, continuum mechanics, and transport theory, are especially encouraged to apply.
